Magnus von Wright was a Finnish painter and ornithologist , known for his detailed depictions of Nordic birdlife. Magnus was the eldest of three brothers, all of whom made significant contributions to Finnish art and ornithology. His best known works include illustrations for the book Svenska Foglar , which he created together with his brothers Wilhelm and Ferdinand von Wright. This work was one of the most important bird atlases of its time, combining both scientific and artistic aspects.
