Paul Dumée is a lesser-known but nonetheless notable biologist active in the 20th century. The Nouvel atlas de poche des champignons is a work published in the early 20th century by Paul Dumée, along with Émile Boudier and Georges Nesplion. This book was a major reference work in mycology, aimed at both scientists and mushroom pickers. It combined scientific rigor with practical applicability, making it a valuable resource for the study and identification of fungi. One of the book's outstanding features is its full-color illustrations. These were made by Georges Nesplion.
